All Sako ammunition has been loaded at their Rihimaki plant in Finland since 1921, ensuring the application of the latest technology and know-how acquired over generations. All Sako and Tikka rifles are tested at the same production plant with Sako ammunition, ensuring accuracies of less than 1 MOA in all test sets.

Sako cartridges are of high quality and are famous for their heat treatment, which, in addition to annealing, provides the smallest microstructures of brass, thus ensuring maximum precision and repeatability of shots, thus maximizing their useful life.

The single-base powder used to load Sako bullets is tested batch by batch in the ballistic laboratory, ensuring maximum consistency between ammunition batches of different production. Likewise, the ignition times and power of the pistons are carefully monitored prior to their approval for loading on the assembly line.
